If you already own AirTags then you know how easy they are to use and how helpful they are with finding anything you place them in/on. As dependable as they are though, they can’t stop a person — who may be as familiar with the popular little tracking devices as you are — from searching for them in your bag or car, removing them, and making off with your items anyway. AirTags can only give you their location. They can’t tell you where the person who ran off with your belongings took them after they get tossed. That said, plenty of AirTag users give their belongings a second layer of protection with the Belkin AirTag wire cable holder — and you’re in luck because it’s 34% off right now. Scoop this up along with the AirTags (which are also sneakily still on sale post-Prime Day).
While nothing is 100% theft-proof, this AirTag holder definitely tips the odds in your favor. Reviewers love it because you can enclose the AirTag inside it, loop it around and lock it closed on everything from luggage to purses to keychains and beyond. Several reviewers noted that out of all the AirTag holders on the market, the locking aspect of this one is so tight, you actually need a small tool to get it open or closed. “I use this holder to secure my Airtag inside of my luggage,” reviewer, Josh, noted. “The allen-head screw makes it hard to remove without the tool as a deterrent to theft by a shady TSA or airport employee. A must-have!”

“This is easy to use and very secure. I have one on my keys and i just end used one on my luggage. The belkin airtag holder protects your airtag from damage. I tried a silicone holder before but it separated and i almost lost my airtag. Highly recommend this Belkin airtag holder.” — Amazon customer
“I was looking for a good heavy duty case for an Air Tag to go on my dogs collar. I started off with the Otterbox because I’ve had good luck with them in the past; but the Otterbox is designed with a twisting secure that just doesn’t stay secure. It kept coming unscrewed after a day or so. I’m happy to say that this Belkin Air Tag holder is far and away a better system. It has a clamshell design, kept in place with a hex screw. It’s been on my dog’s collar for a couple weeks now, and is as secure as ever. Definitely recommend this Air Tag holder.” — Jeff H.
“I am constantly losing my keys, and this seriously does the trick! The airtags themselves are pinpoint accurate, and this secure holder is pretty much tamper-proof. The only thing I’d point out is that you need a mini alan wrench to open and close this thing.” — Mandi
“I used these holders to place an AirTag in our luggage. Most luggage has a zippered lining that allows you to get to the handle hardware on the back of the bag. I attached these around the metal handle poles on the bottom of our bags. It is great getting on a plane and knowing every bag is on the plane prior to takeoff. We also used baggage transport service on our trip between destinations and knew that our bags made it to our destination prior to us checking into the hotel. If a bag was every lost, I’m confident we’d be able to track down our bag. This mount protects the AirTag well and makes it considerably more difficult to remove it quickly.” — CU
“Cable is much thicker and stronger than I thought it would be so that is good. Would have preferred a rubber shell to keep from knocking on suitcase but it is a very sturdy case. Takes practice to get the cable in place when locking but once locked it is secure.” — Edgar
