Last-minute holidays can be quite daunting to book, but luckily, the world is brimming with stunning locations you can travel to “without spending a fortune”.

They looked at more than 3,500 package holidays from the UK’s largest holiday companies for the first week of August, which are still available to book now.

While Morocco in Africa topped the list, Ibiza in Spain’s famous Balearic Islands emerged as the cheapest option in Europe.

If you’re looking to combine sunny beaches to relax during the day with a vibrant nightlife, Ibiza is the perfect choice.

You can enjoy an all-inclusive seven-day getaway for an average cost of £1,046 per person, with some options starting as low as £804 per person.

Dalaman in Turkey secured the third spot at £1,057 per person, followed by Menorca at £1,100 per person.

While it may be best known as a party holiday destination, the island ahead of all the other European places on the list offers idyllic beaches with tranquil atmospheres and secluded natural spots.

Ibiza boasts stunning beaches with crystal-clear waters and soft sand – including the popular Cala d’Hort, Cala Comte, Ses Salines, and Cala Saladeta.

Ibiza Town (Eivissa in mallorquí) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and features a charming old town called Dalt Vila.

Tourists can explore the narrow cobbled streets, imposing fortifications, and the cathedral, which combines several architectural styles and stands close to Dalt Vila’s highest point.

Ibiza has a long history as a bohemian haven, and this is still evident in some parts of the island, particularly in the village of San Gertrudis.

Here you’ll find independent art galleries, artisan shops, and a variety of restaurants serving local dishes, including the freshest seafood.

Ibiza is also world-famous for its nightlife, with clubs like Pacha, Amnesia, and DC-10 attracting DJs and partygoers from all over the globe.
