This quaint town sits at the northern end of Windermere, England’s largest lake.

Despite its modest population of less than 3,000, Ambleside continues to attract visitors from far and wide with its breathtaking landscapes.

In the summer, it’s an ideal location for leisurely walks thanks to the surrounding trails.

To reach Ambleside, take a train to Windermere followed by a brief 15-minute bus journey. For those travelling by car, the A591 provides a direct route into the town.
