Flying can be stressful. It’s cramped, and even more so if you’re in the middle seat; there’s not much legroom, and you just want to be at your destination.

It can be made even worse by inconsiderate passengers who feel entitled to hog more of your space, whether that be by spreading their legs into your area or elbowing you. 

But something much, much worse happened to one man who was just trying to mind his own business on a flight. He looked down and was greeted by something so gross he knew that he had to take action.

Digital creator Cam Casey joked that the woman received “instant karma on the airplane” for what she did after slamming her antics as “nasty”.

The woman had spread her legs forward but was wearing flip-flops, leaving her toes under his seat and totally exposed. Less than ideal for anyone grossed out by feet. 

Slowly, he tipped up the reusable water bottle he had in his hand until a large glug of water dramatically cascaded down all over her bare feet.

At the end of the short clip, you can hear her shocked gasp as she quickly pulls her feet away from under his seat. 

In the comments of the video, people said that they would’ve done things differently to freak her out even more.

“Warm water or coffee would’ve been better,” someone joked. “Or a nice sticky soda,” another added.

Somebody shared what they would’ve done, writing: “I would have fake sneezed on their toes with just a sprinkle of water. That would have been way more impactful”.

Cam replied with a trophy emoji for his genius idea. Meanwhile, others said they would’ve been tempted to “accidentally step on her toes” if she’d done this.

Some stuck up for the woman though – saying that she may not have done it purposefully. One said: “Isn’t it possible she fell asleep and didn’t realise her feet moved or that she was beyond the chair edge? People are so extra”.

A woman shared: “I was going to comment something, but I am a tall girl, so I fear getting in this situation,” followed by a sad face emoji.
